My entire life I have had trouble getting rid of clothing.  Even as a child, before I understood the value of well made clothing and how things come back around almost always, I always wanted to keep my clothing just in case.  Just in the case of what?  I have no idea.  Maybe I would want to wear that tiny little black tee shirt with bright yellow piping and a laminate peace sign, flower, and smiley face all in a row, just one more time.  You never know!  Well of course my mom made me get rid of it eventually.  She actually probably just took it out of my closet when I wasn’t home and got rid of it and gave me some new shirts to distract me, tricky woman my mother was.  Tricky woman.

Anyway, I had rompers galore as a child. Rompers with flowers, rompers with polka dots, rompers with matching bows to wear in my hair!  And, not that they would fit me now (HA!), but they have definitely made a come back in the last couple of years.  If I could have a romper for every day of the week, well, I would!  It’s so easy to get dressed when you only have to put on one thing!  Except when you finally have to give in to going to the bathroom, then make sure it’s a romper you can unzip or unbuckle or unbutton on your own.  That could get awkward…

This romper is a current favorite.  It’s perfectly romper-ish, with just the right amount of grown up!  I speak, clearly, of the girlish knot at the tummy.  That makes it grown up right?  Maybe more childish?  I don’t care, I love it.  Add in a cute little bag and some grown up shoes, and BAM!  You are ready.  Or I am ready.  Whatever.
