It’s Monica Geller! Or is it?

After spending a week only halfway in work mode because I had family in town, it’s time to get this show on the road!  Maybe a little ill-timed after such a big relaunch, but I think it’s good to take a little breather after so much work, no?  Well, it doesn’t really matter if it was a good idea or not, because all is said and done and here we are, MONDAY, and time to get back to work!  I’m really excited about the next home style post, which includes so much love for the first and last area you see of my apartment.  It’s really the first and last thing you see of any apartment, unless you are climbing out back windows, so to each their own!  Around here though, we use the front door, so I feel like it’s important for it to make an impression.  Getting you excited?   But now down to the nitty-gritty, the outfit you see above! The shapes do it.

Although this outfit is black, navy, and brown, it is the shapes that make it what it is.  Shape play in clothing is one of my favorite things to do.  How does the shape of a shirt change how I feel? How I look?  How I can dance?  Yes, being able to dance is very important in clothing choices on a daily basis.  Anyway, I love these shapes together. The structured look of the Kimem pants with the skirt over paired with the loose fit of the button up navy shirt just makes me feel good.  What’s better than that?  Nothing. Ninja bun Friday, are you ready?  Happy weekend! Top: Vintage // Pants: KIMEM Jacky Skirt on top pants // Loafers: Via Spiga // Bag: Vere Verto Mox  Photography by Randy...
