It’s Fall-ish! Pt. 2

It’s Fall-ish! Pt. 2

Because one day of cookies isn’t enough.   This outfit from Alli K has single handedly made me want to move to a colder climate.  Ha!  Totally kidding.  Seriously, I’m kidding.  I love me some LA sun!  This set will be perfect for LA once the “winter” hits, you know, when it gets down in the 60s & 70s.  This outfit had me from the start, in all of it’s squiggly goodness.  Plus, I am a sucker for matching sets, and even more of a sucker for matching sets that are comfortable.  This one fits the bill and as soon as the weather got down below 80 (for the short 24 hours that it did), I threw it on faster than you can say squash bottom!  I have no idea why squash bottom, it’s just the first thing that came to my mind… Anyway, it was the perfect outfit for the day paired with my trusty Hare + Hart bucket bag.  I also have it in tan and mint, seen here & here & also 1 million other places, and they have become my go-to bags for running around.  They fit everything!  And I always get so many compliments on them, and who doesn’t like that?!?   Now, go ahead, soak in the awesomeness that is me eating a Pumpkin Pie Cookie with Toasted Marshmallow Ice Cream sandwich in a killer matching set, all the while toting around my bag.  YOU ARE WELCOME. LA Ninja Warrior Ep. 1

LA Ninja Warrior Ep. 1

Just kidding, this isn’t LA Ninja Warrior episode 1.  It’s episode 2! (For the first installment, see this post.)  Really though, I was so pumped, and I mean P-U-M-P-E-D, when I found this matching set.  It was just sitting there at a thrift store in Salt Lake over the 4th of July, minding it’s own business, when I came along!  It is pretty happy to be with me too, I’m pretty sure… I would really like to meet the person who first purchased this set because they are obviously awesome.  Well, maybe they aren’t that awesome because they did end up donating it to a thrift store.  I like to think that they just grew out of it though, maybe too wide or too thin for it?  Let’s go with that as to not ruin this person that I have put on a pedestal for buying a dragon ninja outfit.   Anyway, finds like this are why I love to shop for vintage in Utah.  I feel like it’s hard to find such awesomeness in Los Angeles, either because it’s gone already or because it costs $5,000.  This little set cost me a grand total of $6.  Seriously.  So, if you ever find yourself in Utah make some time to go to Deseret Industries (the resident and all reigning thrift store chain in Utah), and dig up some gems.  I promise you won’t be sorry.   Until I go back though, I at least have this guy to keep my heart warm at night.   Matching Set: Vintage // Sneakers: Galibier // Bag: Hare + Hart Photography by Eli...
Helloooo

Helloooo

Oh hey!  Such a simple outfit, but it makes such a big statement!  What’s that big statement you ask?  That I didn’t want to think about my clothing.  Well, you win some you lose some.  If I could use emojis then right now I would insert that embarrassed smiling face, but I can’t so… Matching set, boots, and purse: Vintage // Hat: H&M Photography by Sumanta...
