A dress, some shoes, and of course, LOVE.

It’s no surprise that I love vintage clothing.  I love having pieces that I don’t have to worry someone else will have, I see it as best to just all around avoid the “who wore it better” situations in life.  That being said, sometimes there are pieces that are so unique that I just have to have them, even if it means others could be wearing the exact same thing that I am.  Case in point, this dress.  This dress is from Forever 21 of all places, and when I saw it, about a million years ago, I just HAD to have it.  It looks vintage and has a vintage fit, but I am betting it probably won’t last too long.  Especially with the way that I wear it!  You can bet though, that until the very last thread, I will be wearing this dress in all it’s golden glory. P.S. How killer is this wall?  It’s in Culver City by Smashbox Studios if you want to see it for yourself! Leather shorts and shiny brogues.

Leather shorts and shiny brogues.

Alright, so back into the writing groove here… These shorts are pretty much to die for!  I have always been a little sketch about leather bottoms in general, as they seem mostly uncomfortable, but when I found these suede high waisted beauties I couldn’t help but want to try them on.  So I did.  And guess what?  I loved them.  They are perfectly seventies and brought into the now with some shiny brogues and, although they are still in the seventies spirit, round sunnies that are just a little oversized.  It has been actually hot here in Los Angeles, so a light tank and shorts are plenty of clothing, probably even enough to share, but I won’t subject you to that. On top of killer leather shorts, the graffiti in the background is pretty killer in these shots.  Beautiful blues and purples and kinda creepy monster eyes that watch your every move made for a perfect background to an earth toned outfit.  I love finding and shooting in front of graffiti walls, it adds some excitement to the pictures, because you know, I bet I am not enough to keep you entertained.
