So grounded.

So grounded.

I’m so in love with this culotte/legging pairing right now! I would totally rock it every day if wearing dirty clothing was acceptable.  Unfortunately (or fortunately?), it isn’t so I will try to space it out a bit.  Anyway, I love the shape that they create together, the skinny and the flowing, and the texture of the silky culottes against woven leggings.  Add in these little booties from ShoeMint and I am pretty sure we can call it a day.  Cute and comfortable, there is nothing better! I thought the necklace was the perfect piece for this outfit, with a little bit of color and the perfect amount of black to break up the white on top.  This Tiger Eye Mala from Karma Mantra is basically an everyday piece for me lately.  So easy to throw on with everything! Plus, Tiger Eye is said to have protective and grounding properties, and who couldn’t use a little bit of that?!? I mean, I AM TOTALLY GROUNDED OVER HERE.   Shirt: Anthropologie, similar here // Culottes: Urban Outfitters // Leggings: Urban Outfitters // Shoes: ShoeMint // Necklace: Karma Mantra  Photography by Randy...
Sheer Tops + Overalls

Sheer Tops + Overalls

Not much to do around here right now except try to stay cool.  It’s been in the upper 90s and that means you can’t do anything except stay inside or go down to the beach, neither of which lend themselves to very creative fashion.  I was bound and determined to find something that would work, and so here we are!  A very light weight vintage top and linen overalls made for the perfect breathable outfit.  I love sheer tops under overalls!  Add in a pair of little ankle boots to celebrate the coming of fall, while not covering too much more skin, and I’m set! And what’s with the giant pink artichoke you ask?  Well nothing.  I just love it, I really do. Brighten your day a little.

Brighten your day a little.

Well if this isn’t just the happiest dress and shoe pair you have ever seen!  Seriously, this dress just begs to be smiled at.  And the shoes?  They are definitely dancin’ shoes!  These killer sparkly booties by Opening Ceremony are some of my favorites, white sole and all!  They spice up any outfit, or in this case, match the spice of my dress.  Shoes like these are perfect to spend a little money on because they won’t go out of style.  When things look unique enough you can pretty much get away with them always, you really can’t go wrong with them!  Brighten your day a little, get yo’ self some!
