Has anyone noticed that I seem to go through spurts of super colorful clothing and then spurts of black/white and I just go back and forth and back and forth?  No?  Well this is awkward. Ha, just kidding!  No awkwardness over here.  Unless you count the fact that somehow my pants are on backwards as I write this…

ANYWAY, I do seem to go through spells of color or black and white.  I thought it was connected to the seasons, but this spell of dark clothing plopped itself right down in the middle of spring.  I have no explanation for it, it just kind of happens, and I just let it.  I always want to be authentic, and sometimes that means bright colors that make even me want to puke, and sometimes that means all black with a couple of splashes of awesome.  Case in point, this outfit with a killer printed tee, silver boots, and a bag that could very well be used as a weapon (not unlike this one).

Plain black outfits definitely need a little spunk, don’t you think?  Like the jumpsuit I posted on Monday.  A little somethin’ somethin’ never hurt anyone.  In fact, it only helps!  Maybe you are having a frumpy day, when anything you put on just doesn’t make you feel like yourself.  Throw on some black and add in your favorite statement accessory and call it a day!  Or maybe you just feel all black some days but are dying to wear a pair of crazy colored shoes.  Insert all black here!  See?  Your wardrobe problems solved right here on OTK.  :)

P.S. You really should check out Pantainanas, the company that made my top!  They have the most amazingly cool prints on phone cases, tee shirts, bags, and even something to hang on your wall.  Plus, they have free worldwide shipping.  Nothing is better than that.  NOTHING!

Shirt: Pantainanas // Pants: Urban Outfitters (get the look here) // Shoes: Y.R.U. // Bag: Valas Los Angeles (check out their stuff here)
