Although these shorts, actually called “pretties“, make me look like a chubby child (seriously go back and look, I’m not calling myself fat here, I’m just saying I resemble a child not quite grown into themself in these pictures), they will always be a go-to for me.  It’s all a little reminiscent of how boyfriend jeans make your legs look like stumps, but don’t we all just keep wearing them for the sheer goodness that they bring into our lives?  To pull them from my wardrobe would be the day I stop getting out of bed.  Maybe that might have been an exaggeration, but mostly it wasn’t.  So don’t take my pants okay?

And to get back on track here… I love my pretties and I also love these shoes.  Why?  I don’t have any idea.  Normally pointy toed shoes aren’t my thing, pointy boots are a yes, but flats are ALMOST always a no.  These ones though, they were just so… ON POINT.  They spoke to me, if you will.  It may have been the tiny white strap, or it may have been temporary insanity, either way I love them.  Plus, they are plastic so I’m not so much worried about scuffing the toe, which I will inevitably do.  Love me anyway?
