Who woulda thought I would ever get so much use out of apple green boots? Well I did, of course. I’ve been throwin’ them on with everything, they are like a neutral! Really they aren’t like a neutral, and I think that’s why I like them. I’m makin’ them a neutral, sometimes with a major outfit win (like the one above), and sometimes it’s a fail and I don’t leave the house in it. You gotta try right? They are just the right green though that makes them wearable with lots of different outfits, in my opinion at least. (Over here, it’s mostly only my opinion that matters when it comes to clothing choices, sometimes my boyfriends, but… not very often.)
Cut off mom jeans are quickly becoming a springtime staple, especially with any type of shoe that goes up beyond the fringed hem. These boots and high top converse are on heavy rotation with these pants for sure. I feel like it adds a little bit of flattery, when the hem hits just the right spot over the shoes, and creates the illusion that your ankle is longer. Or something like that… It’s an illusion of sorts, and I like it. I can’t stress to you enough though, how important the length of the pants is. I have another pair of mom jeans that are a TINY bit longer and NOPE. They definitely don’t work in these kinds of situations. They end up making me look like I have no ankle at all. Who wants that? NO ONE. So, when you go to buy or cut your own, try them at a few different lengths with a few different pairs of shoes, to get the length that suits your leg/ankle situation best.
That entire explanation really was of no help, was it? Good luck out there my friends, GOOD LUCK.
