I am so excited to share this shoot, by the very talented Harvy Moon, with you guys!    His photography holds such a mood within it, making you feel something for what he is capturing.  He was such a pleasure to work with, and I definitely want to work with him again.  What do you guys think?

As for the clothes…

It starts with: The llamas!  This sweater skirt with perfectly placed llamas on it has been on heavy rotation the last couple of weeks, because duh, it has llamas on it.

Next: I love the muted tones of the skirt and wanted something to compliment them on top.  The obvious choice with the skirt would have been white or cream, but who wants obvious?  Not I!  So, I chose a tee in equally as muted tones of red and blue stripes, to mimic the striping in the skirt.  To balance out the dark of the top, I chose my favorite black boots, which are mostly flat, to add to the comfort and ease of the outfit.

How it ends: I wasn’t so stoked on a black bag with the outfit, which again, would have been the obvious choice.  I thought adding in a pop of a brighter color helped to bring out the few brighter colors in the skirt while not taking over the outfit, so my trusty cobalt bucket bag was it!  I mean, I pretty much carry that bag most days, and I find a way to make it work with everything, so…. maybe you need to get yourself one too!  Really though…

Shirt: Brandy Melville, similar here // Skirt: Anthropologie // Shoes: Helmut Lang via The Dreslyn // Bag: Wessley NYC
