Generally I am not a fan of the yellowy, sun going down, perma-70s picture, or as so many people more eloquantly put it, the “golden hour” light, but here with this outfit, it feels so right! Maybe it’s the leather jacket or something, I’m not sure, but I’m into it.
This outfit is really one of the easiest things to wear and it all starts with the shirt dress from Loup! A white button up shirt dress is always good to have on hand, not to mention one with all of the pretty things a girl needs in life i.e. red lips, flowers, wine, cute panties, etc. printed on it. It’s entirely too easy to make pieces like this fit into so many different seasons and situations. Luckily for me, I live in LA and the season and situation here for about 358 days of year is 70 degrees and chill. For those of you out there who are actually experiencing winter, you can always layer with a pair of heavy jeans, boots, and the biggest blanket coat you own!
The day I shot this, it just so happened to be on the cooler side of LA weather so I went with a leather jacket (yes, it’s the most perfect brown vintage leather jacket that there has ever been or will ever be, I know), and some knee highs. From there, it’s all about the little details you add! A bandana tied around my neck and killer platform lace up shoes from Valas Los Angeles did it for me. I mean, come on with these shoes and their buttery tan suede!
Pop on a bag to tie it all together and get off of your
