Et Voilá!

Et Voilá!

Oh Cher, what I wouldn’t do to get my paws on a few pieces from your school girl clad wardrobe. What we all wouldn’t do for all of the clothing in Clueless, right?  With the matching little sweaters and various items covered in feathers, it has the little girl in all of us daydreaming about plaid miniskirts.  I guess this little jumper, reminiscent of something that jumped off of Ms. Horowitz herself, will have to satiate my craving for the cult classic’s wonderfully 90’s threads. Seriously though, aren’t you dying over this jumper?  When I bought it, it was about four sizes too large, but I had it taken in to fit my every summers day need.  Who doesn’t love a pleated skirt?  And who doesn’t love a pleated skirt, that is actually shorts, even more?  I’ll take the former if I have the choice, and the pleats hide it perfectly!  Add in a little school-girl-gone-grown-up bag with a tassel, et voilá! And a matching tie?  Duh. Jumper: Vintage // Shoes: Urban Outfitters // Purse:  Vintage // Lips: Posietint by...
What do you need bathing shoes for?

What do you need bathing shoes for?

Another button up vintage shirt… I know… But I just love them!  So much.  Anyway, the real star of these photos are my F-Troupe bathing shoes!  What are bathing shoes for you ask?  Well, everything.  They are so comfortable!  You wouldn’t guess this as they are made from rubber, but nah, they form to your foot like a glove!  A rubber one maybe, but either way, a glove.  I seriously want them in every color, (which don’t worry, they come in just about every color,) you can just throw them on and go for the day and not give any cares! Another little gem here is this little leather purse.  The closure is too cute!  Plus I am not much of a big purse girl, opting instead for something that is much easier to lose, and this fits the bill!  (Seriously I have a problem with losing my purse, leaving it at restaurants, at home, at peoples houses, it’s embarrassing.  I’m an adult.)  I love the embossing on the leather, and it is so easy to throw over my shoulder and again, not give any cares!  Do you find you are more carefree with a smaller bag?  Or are you the type to carry everything but the kitchen sink? I love the 90’s.

I love the 90’s.

I do!  Really!  I mean, okay, really I don’t remember much of them as a massive chunk there in the middle was spent in elementary school.  What do you worry about in elementary school?  The blisters on your hands from the monkey bars.  Not fashion.  Well, maybe a little bit of fashion, like how to perfectly tie your sweatshirt around your waist, which also came in handy when you wanted to flip around said bars without any real coordination. So maybe I am not about to tie my sweatshirt around my waist, nor am I about to do flips, but here are a few things that I am currently loving that might ring your 90’s bell. 1. Wildfox 90’s Face Seattle Sweater 2. Topshop Sleeveless Floral Print Shell Crop Top 3. Bangs a la Rooney Mara after The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 4. Stuart Weitzman Jealous Crystal-Coated Jelly Flats 5. Dark Lips via Lipstick Queen Butterfly Ball in Goodbye 6. Dr. Martens Pascal in Acid...
